18. Playboy: The Mansion

Toss Rollercoaster Tycoon, The Sims, and back issues of Playboy into a blender, and you wind up with Playboy: The Mansion for Xbox in 2005. Everything is a half-baked variation of The Sims with a Playboy skin. Players (starring as “Hef”) try and publish the Playboy magazine, build business relationships, and date models. Sounds like it could be fun in theory, but most players had to slog through tedious jobs managing a business empire. That might be accurate, but it’s not a very fun game. The game received mixed reviews for its shallow gameplay and tepid story.
