Basis Peak

Like the Fitbit Force, the Basis Peak is actually a really good fitness tracker. The Peak received very positive reviews for the sophistication of its technology and accuracy of its tracking features. Also like the Fitbit Force, however, it gave users nasty rashes, blisters and – in some instances—burns. Health and safety need to be the first priority for wearable tech, and instances such as these are a major blow to developers’ and designers’ reputations. The product was duly recalled, and the Peak was an enormous failure.
