The internet went crazy in 2012 when people saw the first videos of Google Glass in action. A pair of ultra-modern glasses that allowed the user to take pictures by voice command, and featured head-tracking navigation and augmented reality—what was not to love? It seemed like users could fast-forward twenty years into the future. Well, fast-forward just five years, and we’re yet to see anyone strolling down the street adorning a pair of Google’s now infamous glasses.
